Plums Eulogy by Clora

Plum my daughter was very young. She struggled as a young slave without a mother or a father. Many beatings occurred towards her for being black. My daughter suffered for wanting what was right. My daughter was respectful harming nothing. A young girl doing what she was set to do as a slave. My daughter why must you take her so early lord.
Always was hurt about having to bury her sister knowing that her sister could not be buried the right way. Always might be hurt to much to say anything all she can do is cry.

  1. I agree with your perspective for Plum. It's creative and sounds deep; showing how Always loved her sister, and was hurt having to bury her. I believe Always would say something like this at her sister Plums burial.

  2. This is a good connection you have with the story. I can agree with your perspective about Plum. One thing you should work on is your punctuation. Keep up the good work!

  3. Deep thoughts and words. It looks like you understood the feelings of the characters in the story. Especially Always' feeling who must have been very hard for her in what she had to bare with. Good work man.

  5. Not bad, Frado. Your view on plum is understandable and makes sense. You also expressed the mother's feelings pretty deep. Good Job.
